The sponge is slowly rising, but some basic plug-ins are still missing

Im still confused on what these points would do? Is it like a primary school smiling sticker? (Where it does nothing other then to show off that your a teacher pet). Or do you mean points as “exp” points that you use for Enchantments?
Also the backup plugin? What type of backup plugin? On schedule or not on schedule? What should it backup? (Main world? Plugins and configuration files? All worlds and configuration files?) How should it backup? (Zip up the files? Rar them up?) Should it send the files over to a file server?
We need to see that envision in your head too which means telling us (or showing us) as much detail as possible.
The openInv is a good example because we as developers can see the features of that bukkit plugin and develop them for Sponge. And personally I would like to develop my own version of it for Sponge. But I dont have a lot of time and im working on my Disguise plugin currently.

playerpoints, looks like your average economy plugin, there’s plenty to chose from Ore - A Minecraft Package Repository

I agree with @phit, there is a lot to choose from, but if you can’t find a plugin that fits with what you want, I would love to make a plugin for you!
