With minor changes an enigma is still a valid encryption machine. Berkley Hill had to use tricks to break it.
Funfact: There were 2 messages encoded with an Enigma-4 that were finally decoded in 2006 (!) with huge amounts of computers.
@DotDash Make sure you do not use ECB mode. Make sure your IV (initial value required for other modes) is properly cryptographically random.
