Sponge be a combination o’ a new API (based off o’ Spout/Flow’s APIs) implemented on top o’ Forge, with assistance from other parts o’ Minecraft’s moddin’ community (Glowstone, Cauldron, Spout, etc.).

‘twill be both a server ‘n client API, ‘n its target user base be pretty much anyone that wants t’ mod thar game, includin’ server owners. However, we may focus on th’ server-side portion first.

We invite any developer t’ help out.
