Is there any way I can refuse private messages on this forum? I’m not comfortable with people sending me private messages. I would rather want to have them open a public thread and annotate me.

Notifications > Personal Messages. Though I can’t imagine why it’d be a concern - if you have troubles with any private messages, staff can read them all anyway.
