It came to me that I had to build an older SpongeForge to diagnose an issue and I believe some other users had the same question. I can check this off the list now.
Below is the link to the video tutorial on How to Build SpongeForge for a Branch. It walks through (in detail) how to clone, prepare, and build the SpongeForge for the stable-6 branch. Replace stable-6 with any other official branch of Sponge you wish.
