I believe your command is correct.
From what I understand you would need to do that for each mod, but replace to word āminecraftā for whatever your mod uses to identify itself.
For example:
/cf entity-spawn modname:monster false
I would assume this works as long as the mod identifies mobs as āmonsterā and not āambientā or something else entirely.
I do not know about mob damage. As of yet, I have been unable to block creeper explosion damage for example.

Yo guys, I seem to have a problem with Griefprevention on 1.12. Luck perms is working just fine i even did /sponge plugins and Griefprevention is loaded and ready to use but there is no griefprevention folder in server directory under config. I checked all other folders and did not see it in there. Any help if i did something wrong?

You need to update LuckPerms and SpongeForge to LATEST or GP will not work correctly. Also update GP as you are running an outdated version.

Everything is updated to the latest version. Sponge forge is at the latest, Luckperms is at the latest, gp is at the latest. I even went to the official forge to get the latest of GP which is 4.2.0.337 for MC version 1.12. I even double checked. still lost as i cannot find anyone else having the same problem.

Why are you using 1.12? You need to use the latest which is 1.12.1

Ok i did that, I just assumed iād have to use a 1.12 versions since i am using and running a 1.12 forge server. But now LuckPerms isnāt working. So i canāt really tell if GP is working or not.

You need to use Forge 1.12.1, not 1.12.
@blood just curious here, did new permissions get added? somehow my players are getting negative claim blocks, im using the latest spongeforge and grief prevention, ever since the update with the towns and stuff players been getting negative claim blocks and nothing i do fixes them.
This is why you read the changelogs before upgrading to a new major version. It explicitly stated what was changed and what to do to migrate properly. Grab the changelog and read to fix your issue. Iāll add it to the wiki for those that miss it.
not going to try and argue but this was on a fresh wipe? pixelmon was forked and released a new update so i updated to it and wiped my world, did a fresh instal using the latest version with new claims from that system, there was no data to be migrated tho? so i was a bit confused as to why players joining the server where recieving negative claim blocksā¦ sorry forgot to mention that it was a fresh install with a fresh config etc.
After updating to the latest SpongeForgeā¦ I receive this error. Going back to older versions of SpongeForge also give the same error now.

Cant use any comando, via console ir not, iām using 1.12 version with forge 2443 and last Sponge for this version.
So, I have the latest grief prevention as of 25/08/17 and latest sponge, and the server loads up in the console but the following error is printed:

You are not using a proper permissions plugin such as LuckPerms. Install LuckPerms and you wont have any issues. I also pushed some fixes with the permission plugin check so you shouldnt see the spam anymore.

This is definitely not true, blood does not have an ego (not a big one at least) and definitely takes suggestions, in fact he often asks for them and feedback in the Discord.
On the note of rude and disrespectful, thereās a minimum requirement of user effort that usually doesnāt happen, which makes many developers appear grumpy/rude (see LexManos, who is actually a good guy) cos end users donāt read or follow instructions
tl;dr the above quote is a nice way to get banned
