It would generate less confusion for those who may not know about this project until they jump on board after a stable server build has been released.

Discourse is ok, never heard of stack exchange.
I’m definitely sticking to ‘plugins’.
But it’d be fun for the Sponge community to set an interesting name for the sponge mods.
Modules sounds fine to me.

I actually think this thread should be closed.
We already have a name for our SpongeAPI-based-releases: Plugins; There’s a category called “Plugins” so I don’t think it’s discussable.

Look at the forum sections.
Splugins is not too different, and not too similar. Besides it’s basically a two-step process to change the forum section names.
Well the project leads kept the same name as bukkit and stuff, I don’t blame them its like plugging in code into something so it’s a ‘PLUGging IN’

Person downloads Worldedit for Rainbow, but has a Sponge server
“DIDKGKKFTKF IT DOESNT WORK!”

I’m saying that with many other server platforms, it can be hard to tell which plugin goes to which platform, so splugins helps to differentiate that.
