Seriously? I’ve said already, Doodads are where it’s at, plugins and splugins are old news.
How did they happen to be able to differentiate Canary plugins from Bukkit plugins?
Aside, it’s not only 2 steps, it would also require updating the code.

My Sponge ModPluginDoodad
From all this there’s a remedy
We all need a good laugh
There’s no better comedy
Than being Trolled by Staff
Here is where to put the blame:
It’s hard to argue without doubt
When we can’t even put a name
On whatever we’re talking about
So give those trolls a huggin’
No matter how they scream or shout
We have to keep the PLUGIN
Or the bathwater will run out.
@Inscrutable I love you, sir.
Exactly, we could differentiate.
And we will exactly from bukkit and sponge plugin’s.
If people were to call them splugins i would definitely start calling them spuggies after a while.
Ye i probably will aswell
Call it what you want, but I’m still calling them Splugins.
If you aren’t going to call them Doodads then keep the word Plugins!
Men this thread was soooo long I’m here since people thought of using modules
! LoL
Btw @Inscrutable nice peom!
Spores, Pores, Droplets, Reeflets!
All cool ideas.
Pore = a bukkit and sponge bridge.
Its a plugin, if we call it ’ Pores’
thats like making multiple ‘Pore’
Well keep in mind, I could just as easily make a plugin called “Plugin.” :3
Ye, but who would?
’ Plugin Plugin ’
I’m soo sticking with splugins now.
Why not just mods… ?
Well, Since everyone else is putting there idea out there…
How about, since the motto is Sponge Powered I believe, we try calling them Powers? or maybe Outlets?
Idk, just a random idea I had. Maybe I’ll come up with something better later.

My thoughts exactly. I don’t feel that we need to change the lexicon that people who migrated from Bukkit (a sizable number of people in the Sponge community) are already familiar with.

Like I’ve said many times:
Splugins is familiar to those who know plugins, but brings new life for a new, better project.
