How did they happen to be able to differentiate Canary plugins from Bukkit plugins?
Aside, it’s not only 2 steps, it would also require updating the code.

Exactly, we could differentiate.
And we will exactly from bukkit and sponge plugin’s.
If people were to call them splugins i would definitely start calling them spuggies after a while.

How about, since the motto is Sponge Powered I believe, we try calling them Powers? or maybe Outlets?

My thoughts exactly. I don’t feel that we need to change the lexicon that people who migrated from Bukkit (a sizable number of people in the Sponge community) are already familiar with.
